From the sake flask
the waters of Oirase
pour out to the sea
*The word choshi is a reference to the pouring brim of a sake pot. The Choshi Otaki waterfall is part of the world famous Oirase stream system that flows out of Lake Towada, Japan, toward the Pacific Ocean. It was so named because it reminded people of the brim of a sake pot, from which sake liberally poured.
