Netflix recently announced that it’s live action adaption of Shinichiro Watanabe’s classic anime series Cowboy Bebop will premier on the 19th November.
Over the weekend, they released the opening credits sequence for the series. One of the things to look forward to this adaption is the fact that the producers retained the services of prolific composer Yoko Kanno, who penned the score for the original. And as we see in this sequence, Netflix has also retained Kanno’s vibrant opening piece Tank! as the starting credits roll.
Interestingly, aside from the main cast, the opening sequence also shows some of the other characters the Bebop crew encountered in their adventures, including the ever popular Mad Pierrot and the adorable AI corgi Ein. The only mystery remains: who will play Ed?
